About
Who is Jackeline Tovar
More about the CEO: Born in El Salvador, Central America, her life was completely changed on the journey to Damascus, just like Saul of Tarsus.
At 19, she recognized the Lord Jesus as her Savior and began her journey trusting only in Christ. God awakened a desire to share the good news of salvation, and she saw a task and a challenge before her. While developing leadership among women in 2002, God began to direct her to pursue a career in counseling.
She received an Associate's in Early Child Education. God allowed her to study at the private Master's University in Santa Clarita, where she received a bachelor's degree in Biblical counseling. In March 2018, she completed a master's degree in Human Services Counseling, with a focus on marriage and family, from Liberty University. She recently received a permit to serve as a supervisor at an early childhood education center.
In 2015, she launched the television program "Arise Woman" in Pasadena, California, where she co-hosted and participated in developing programs addressing women's issues, presenting interviews and testimonies. Additionally, she is passionate about helping young women in rehabilitation centers and is occasionally invited to share topics on training, anger management, grief, and other aspects of biblical counseling. She also dedicates time to presenting her published book, titled Arise Woman, to radio stations, local bookstores, and congregations.
In 2018, she joined the volunteer group at La Samaritana rehabilitation center in California, where she shared the Word of God and topics for the women who have been rehabilitated there for seven months.
The Mujeres Conquistadoras program was founded in March 2018. The program's vision is to bring topics specifically for women. Each teaching contains a biblical truth or principles taken from Scripture. It is currently broadcast on a radio station in California and El Salvador.
In 2019, she facilitated a 16-week Bible study session with women who had previously opted for abortion at a CareNet women's crisis center in Lancaster, CA. This study helped her direct and support ministries that share the same goal of helping women with mental and spiritual support. She has received certifications at the Light University in Mental Coaching and the area of grief and loss for use in support group sessions.
Additionally, she received training to counsel couples in marriage through Prepare and Enrich. She is also able to lead workshops and premarital talks. She received certification from the State of California as a Wellness Coach.
She recently started a new business called Awake Up and Arise. She is the creator behind some of the collections of printed shirts, along with handmade cards. This year, she will launch different creations and is about to add more items that represent the Christian faith. One of her creations benefited three women's centers specifically to celebrate the arrival of these beautiful babies who were not aborted. Her motivation for starting a business is that it will pave the way for a non-profit ministry to help mothers who have once experienced the loss of their babies. This year, she registered that ministry under the name Embraced in His Arms.
She is currently preparing the Bible study "Embraced by Him," which will be used in support groups. It will be officially launched in October of 2025. The organization will provide resources, education, and community support. After experiencing three miscarriages, she has received the calling to join other mothers who are facing grief, where she can bring the consolation she has received from Christ. She currently works in social services for a school district, where she facilitates workshops to parents and provides community resources. This year marks 27 years of marriage to Brother Ruben, and they are the parents of a 23-year-old son, Josue.
